It was a long weekend. The medical convention was at one of the local resort. The doctor told his wife that since spouses are not sponsored, he will be going alone. But he wasn't planning to spend the weekend alone. He shared more than just the room with one of the medical reps. His wife realising that it was his birthday decided to spring him a surprise. Guess who was really surprised when the wife knocked on the door - with kids on towed?
Another convention , another story:
This chap is the " Licker ." He is a lickophilia. Out of the blues, he decided to shake salt and pepper over the exposed kness of a medical rep. and yes; proceed to lick it. Sometime later he was charged about making inappropriate licking remarks , but this time to a patient.
How to get your 15 minutes of fame and irritates others on the way?
One of the most irritating thing that happens at medical meeting is the presence of colleagues who ask questions that they obviously knows the answers to. But it is not just one question. It is a monopoly of questions that often shortens the gist of the presentation; and not to mention delaying the dinner from being served. These guys should realised that most attends the meetings to listen to the Presenter; not to wannabees indulging their complex. Often important points are missed as the Presenter has to politely reciprocate these unnecessary interruptions. Questions have to be left to the last. Often they will have been answered by the Presenter without a need to be asked. And yes , we dont like delayed meals!
